FAQ's
What’s the booking process?
To start the booking process, I’ll send you a booking form to gather a few essential details. Once the form is completed, a 20% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your date. You’ll receive a performance contract, along with an invoice and all the necessary performance details and payment information. Once the contract is signed and the booking fee is paid, your date will be officially reserved! The remaining balance is due two weeks before your big day.
How far do you travel?
I'm based in North West Cheshire and love to travel throughout the UK and internationally for events!
For locations beyond a 30-mile radius, a mileage fee will apply. For international events, we can discuss travel arrangements upon your enquiry.
FAQs
01
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
I strive to provide flexibility to ensure your event runs seamlessly. During the booking process, I’ll note a tentative schedule, allowing for any minor changes closer to the day. About two months before your wedding, we’ll have a thorough consultation to confirm the final details and timings, ensuring everything goes as planned.
02
How much time do you need to set up and soundcheck?
For private events, I typically arrive one hour before my performance. For weddings, I plan to arrive two hours before I’m scheduled to sing, allowing ample time to set up equipment in multiple locations if necessary and complete a soundcheck before the performance begins.
03
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform and are you insured?
Absolutely! Unless I’ve made prior arrangements with the venue or DJ to use their sound system, I will always provide my own PA system. Rest assured, all of my equipment is PAT tested annually, and I carry full public liability insurance up to £10 million for your peace of mind.
04
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
Absolutely! I love working closely with my clients to create the perfect soundtrack for your special day. I take the time to understand your preferred artists and genres, as well as any styles you’d like to avoid. If you’d prefer to select just a few songs from my set list—say, six—this still gives me a great sense of the vibe and musical taste you want to bring to your celebration
05
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
Yes, absolutely! Even if a song isn’t listed in my repertoire, there’s a good chance I already know it. I always welcome personal song requests and enjoy adding new material to my set. The best approach is to put together a list of your preferred songs, and we can go over all your choices during your consultation
06
Can I add on packages at a later date?
Yes, absolutely! Many of my clients choose to add an additional package closer to their wedding day. As long as I have availability, I’m happy to accommodate. Simply send me an email to discuss your options and we’ll take it from there.
07
Can I create my own entertainment package?
Absolutely! I love hearing about your unique ideas and am open to any variations from the traditional wedding schedule. Let’s create something special together! Feel free to share your thoughts, and I can put together a bespoke package tailored to your vision
08
Do you work with other musicians?
Most definitely! I love the opportunity to collaborate with other talented musicians. Whether you have specific musicians in mind for collaboration or would like recommendations based on my previous experiences, I can connect you with a variety of professionals, including pianists, guitarists, saxophonists, harpists, and DJs.
